Tips for quickly making a connection with people at a new event

Everyone of us has at least one person in her life that we care about that we haven’t connected with in a long time. They reflect on a few examples in my own life where I was able to make connections with people, not knowing that if you weeks or months from the time they would no longer be with us on this earth. It may sound like a morbid episode but there are some hopeful tones to appreciating the moments we have with the people that we love. It really impacted me to think about it and reflect, and I hope it does the same for you
