Carrie has been such an inspiration to me for quite some time. Her business Type A Society has been internationally recognized and she has made quite a name for herself in the wedding and commercial world. I am so honored to have her join us in Nothern California in June (3rd-6th) to showcase her talent and give you guys something really incredible. She is the definition of #girlboss with two babies and a darling hubby and she talks about how she balances her work and life as best as one can. She is a true rockstar and I cannot wait for you guys to hear her amazing story
Today I get the opportunity to talk all things inspiration with the fabulous Elizabeth Gopal of East Made Co. Today I get to share a great episode with you all with my dear friend Amanda Wrightsman of The Bridal Theory. Amanda and I have known each other for a few years now and each time we have the opportunity to chat we love bringing up all the good topics. Today we talk about what it looks like to build strong vendor to vendor relationships and how that can elevate your career. Treating people with kindness and respect may seem like a no brainer but you'd be surprised how easily it gets overlooked. We talk all about the importance of using social media to your fullest advantage. Both Amanda and I met on social media and now have blossomed a great relationship. Lastly, we talk about authenticity. This is such a big topic and one that not everyone sees eye to eye on. I know the way I show up to be authentic is much different than most people, but I am okay with that. Come join us and listen to all the nitty gritty content we are dishing out to you guys today!
This episode I had the honor and privilege of interviewing the lovely Laura Gordon. Laura is a world renowned wedding photographer based out of rural Virginia. She has been recognized by the top publications in the world. The best part about Laura is that she is the kindest and down the earth creative I have had the opportunity to work with. Not only is her knowledge endless but she is incredibly humble and grateful for where her career has taken her. In this episode we discuss inspiration, being a destination photographer, and of course film.
I am so honored to have this beautiful, strong, and educated woman on the show today. Natalia Issa is a hair and makeup artist based out of Dallas, TX who will charm you in about two seconds flat. Her outlook on life, business, and overall love is a breath of fresh. Not only is she an incredibly talented artist but she also has the biggest heart for all animals.
In this episode we go through Natalia's life and career and she tells how she has grown her brand by coming from the place of love and service. We discuss our hopes, dreams, and how to help the world on step at a time. We could all take some big lessons away from this episode. I know you will become a fan of hers and we hope you all continue to lift each other up with love and compassion.

To be honest, this episode is the true morals and base of what Vero was created for. Andrew Smith is a wedding photographer based in Ohio and we met at the Rising Tide Leaders retreat in 2016. Naturally we had to follow each other on social, so I was able to keep up with him through the years. I came across a blog post he had written called "Broke AF" and took the time to give it a look. After reading it, I knew I had to reach out to Andrew because I too was in a very similar state of mind and state of life. We discussed such great topics of what it is to be a wedding photographer today and the low low's you hit as well as the high high's.
I am so happy to say that after only one year Andrew has been wildly successful and taken on some big goals and achieved great things. I hope this episode connects with those of you who are going through something similar as we were at the time and can take our advice and KEEP GOING! We will both be right here cheering you on!
