The Veteran Gamers - A UK (ish) gaming Podcast

This week the Veteran Gamer crew have some Skype issues so Duke and Chinny kick Stu off for having failed to pay his internet provider. In Stu's absence Duke and Chinny talk about the latest games they have been playing and read out an article on the unsung heroes of video games.

VlaDOS is doing what she does best by making no sense at all and recommending a game that no one has heard of, but will Duke and Chinny like it? Tune in to find out (I bet you're on the edge of your seat).

I wonder if anyone still reads these show descriptions, I could say whatever I want and no one would read it HA HA HA. OK enough of that.

Enjoy!

This week Chinny is joined by Harvey Elliott Vice President and General Manager of EA Bright Light Studios.

EA Bright Light began life as the EA UK studio back in 1995 – the studio synonymous with most successful movie-game series of all time, Harry Potter.  It also has a deep and rich gaming heritage through the acquisition of Bullfrog Productions, with games such as Theme Park, Syndicate, Populous and Dungeon Keeper as names that are familiar to many of us.

They talk about the BAFTA Young Game Designers competition 2011, how he made his way into gaming, new IPs and the British game development industry in general.
