May was mental health awareness month, but taking care of, (and protecting) one's mental well-being is a full time job! This week the Vexed Intellects discuss recent instances of young people & their public declarations of struggling with mental health related issues. Naomi Osaka decided to skip post match press conferences, & ultimately elected to withdraw from the French Open due to her struggles with social anxiety & depression. The guys also discuss two instances recently where a young rapper & a popular car forum member took to social media to express the pain of being cheated on before taking their own lives. Could society do more to support our young people as they struggle to deal with mental issues publicly? Plus..

Kwame Brown & Nick Cannon are proving with incredible efficiency that one man is more than capable of handling several suitors at once. As Nick continues to be fruitful with the seed of life, Kwame continues to unleash verbal Mortal Kombat as he berates his many detractors with "Mama's cooking" from the comfort of his own home (and truck) on his YouTube channel: "The Bust Life". This week The Vexed Intellects discuss the many adventures of these two gentlemen plus...

"Loud & Wrong" was the theme this week...
As many Americans erroneously cerebrated Mexican Independence (Cinco de Mayo), South Carolina senator Tim Scott & Vice President Kamala Harris denied that America is a racist country. Oh, & Instagram model Lira Galore went to Twitter to contest if Anne Frank was truly deaf & blind (she wasn't.. it was Hellen Keller..... Yikes!!)

On this day in 1967 Aretha Franklin's song "Respect" was released. This week the Vexed Intellects along with Los (AKA "The Baroness" discuss whether or not it's possible for men to "Respect" their platonic women friends enough to NOT try to sleep with them.
This question was broached after an old clip resurfaced of Steve Harvey claiming that 99.9% of men only befriend women with the hopes of bedding them.
Is this true?
The gentlemen and Los also discuss the "talking" phase in relationships, sleeping with other men's wives, closure, seeing a person's "true colors" in anger, & the potential dangers of meeting up with strangers off the internet for sex.
These topics & much, much, more on this week's episode of The Vexed Intellects!
