The Vexed Intellects Podcast

The men of the vexed intellects start off as a train wreck with a train being run in the background.  At least one of the Vexed is living his best life with a new mic and a New Attitude. (We're looking at you, Jarratt DAMN!)  The remainder of the show is a little shell shocked by the current turnout in the election. 

The fellas + lady (Did we not mention that FourEyesAndSomeCurls joined us this week?) go in to discuss the Marijuana legalization in 5 states during the election season. Next they discuss the debts coming home to roost with Deutsche Bank collecting on 340M owed by Trump.  The show continues to discuss the length a Trump voters will go to support their King.  

The fellas shout out amazing feats by women with out You Glo Girl segment.  Chief Juanita Holmes, Sarah Mcbride, Keiajah Brooks, Cori Bush, Ebony Young, Nia Decosta. A dead man in North Dakota is elected to State Senate and spitting on a lady's back to fake an orgasm. Yes, spitting on a lady's back...

The intellects begin the show with a mixed bag of good and bad weeks.  

RIP to Walter Wallace and the young man gunned down by the police in DC. 

Shout out to the great Muhammed Ali with The anniversary his first Victory and celebrating the passing of desegregation across the board. 

The show goes on the represent the Empress Delfina converting Trump supporters through “sex therapy”.  They reflect upon side conversations from the ladies around having sex with guys with guts.  They discuss prehistoric worms, eating cash and city girls winning in Milwaukee.  An attorney in Miami robbing banks to apparently keep up with the Joneses. 

Rightfully the discussion turns to Birkin bags and Saweetie kicking people to the curb... as the saying goes no romance without finance.  When will folks start “reading the room” with our culture, society and lives on the line. Is it a self esteem issue for our people?

Ochocinco bringing home taking about the fake jewelry and watches that he has bought through the years. Kanye West speaking on a potential investment in Haiti that we are hopeful something comes of it.  

Tyson takes on Boosie's position against the homosexual community and takes a stance against voicing his opinion in this instance.

The conversation moves in another direction as the team discusses “the chase” and if it works for real men. They then continue to discuss giving a man 12 months prior to knowing if its “the one” and then goes on to give counter advice to this perspective.  

The conversation turns to the full court press and getting married juxtaposed with relationship check ins. The show closes with a quick discussion of the Supreme Court approval and her dearth  of experience.

The Vexed Start of sending thoughts and prayers to the Lekki Gate massacre… with a sincere shout out to end SARS.  

We reflect on the feedback from our last show but did not really want to address our faithful until later on.  The gents go on to discuss the Anti-Trust suit being filed by the government and 11 stats against Google (8:45). They then continue to discuss the COVID vaccine and the lack of transparency (13:30).  They go on to discuss the upcoming debate and the lawful nature of federales policing Portland and Seattle.  A quick curveball conversation around washing your sheets and being clean (18.15). 

There has been an amazing turn of events that the Grand Jury participants can speak out on the process (21.45) and we hope that something positive comes from the decision. 

They then take the opportunity to shout out amazing feats by women in our “You Glo Girl” segment.  They then represent for the fellas with “Real Man of Genius” representing Eddie Murphy (29:17).  The show continues by shouting of Love Craft Country and HBO with doing a great job adding black faces in different places. 

On this week in WTF Jeffrey Toobin  gets suspending for masturbating on the zoom prep (38:45).  Mr. Damn goes on to identify with the experience.  Speaking of identifying OJ Simpson comes out to chastise the act (43:30). The segment gets weird with a pastor baptizing a fellow passenger on a flight and the antics ensue.   The guys go on to introduce a new segment called “Love Wins” and a quick shout with a critique out to Cardi and Offset (52:00).

In our dating segment for the week we discuss the pop up “Friend” that joins the first date.. should we pay for her too (1:03:00). We go on to discuss spennanight trends in the new dating world (1:06) and do you really need a bag. The fellas go on to listen to reflect on a guys perspective (1:14:05) and keeping up that same energy from the dating phase.  The show goes on to discuss getting married from a guys perspective. In continuing the flow around dating and relationships we discuss, vasectomies for young males, DNA tests at birth (1:33:00) and the COVID  19 baby bust as women decide to not have babies (1:39:00).  After discussing fatherhood, the show goes on to discuss sorry "neegus" asking for money from women (1:45:00). The main topic for today is Ice Cube’s “Contract for Black America” as he vocalizes and operationalizes said contract. (1:50:00).

On this week’s episode the gentleman of the Vexed shout out leading from the front, if you can imagine that b.s. from the Oval office.  

In leading from the front they discuss the failed talks of stimulus part 2 (5:37), a waste of tax payers dollars taking on the Netflix movie cuties (6:37), the dumpster fire of 2020 & ICE (8:08), transgender rights (10:02), and Youtube thotting (12:02).  

Of course we represent for the ladies in U Glo Girl from astronauts, to tv artists and senior martial artists kicking butt. A special RIP to Bob Gibson a man amongst men and Bro. Thomas Byrd, and Eddie Van Halen. Thoughts and prayers to Ananda Lewis with a reminder to go get your mammograms (25.01) and Chrissy Teigen with the loss of their child this week. 

 The question for the day is “Why can’t we lead with love”?  Big shout out to them from truly leading from the font with very important messages for our women.  Shout out to all of the states seemingly getting it right; Gavin Newsome with reparations and Michigan re-sentencing all juveniles that have been given a life sentence. A WTF and Florida man segment that you have to hear to believe (33.00 & 36:00 respectively). 

The #Proudboys co-opting the hash tag promoted by agent orange (40:00).  We then digress into signs that we won’t date.. David Guetta complains about Madonna not working with him because he is a Scorpio and moving to Kris Jenner and a sexual harassment suit form one of her previous bodyguards.  The conversations digress to Subway’s bread being considered cake and a conversation about “length”.  

Is travel bragging a thing that needs to stop (1:03). We revisit agent orange testing positive for Covid from the White House super spreader event and the antics that have come in the aftermath (1:17).  Supreme Court Thomas and Alito attempting to overturn the decision around same sex marriage (1:31).   

Finishing this commentary with another instance of murder of Jonathan Price by the police in Texas. The underlying messages of today are take care of your health and liberate your VOTE!!

Welp... it’s another week on the vexed intellects where we are just plain ole vexed.

In reality you know why we’re here... the “shit-show” that was the presidential debate. (1:26:35)  The guys muster up the levity to discuss some other topics including, a convenient post office address glitch (07:23), payout for the victims in the Vegas shooting (9:47), Mark Cuban helps Delante West (25:41), allegations of mental instability leads to a conversation where they say “crazy” sex is the best and does that apply for women? Sex world records (34:41), reused condoms (40:20) and when does sec count as sex?

 The conversation turn political again as they discuss the Kentucky's Attorney General and his criminal activities (1:04:00), Trump only paying $750 (1:15:00), and a quote to sum up the debate. 

“A wise man should never argue with fools ‘cause at a distance you can’t tell the difference between the wise man and the fool...”

On today’s episode the Vexed Intellects are joined by an perennial fave Tall Paul aka the Sultan of the Swats. 

Upon the recording on Tuesday the gents were Hopeful but Doubtful on a myriad of topics ranging from Justice for Breonna Taylor and a righteous replacement process for the notorious RBG (RIP). Justice deferred seems to be a theme of the week where politics are the most important card that can be played. 

This lack of fairness and truth is reinforced when CEO’s don’t understand black talent and 45 issues more bans on diversity training. The fellas look at the bright side representing the real men of genius as Deion Sanders takes the reigns at JSU, MJ gets into Nascar signing Bubba Wallace with the hope of bringing his championship ways to the oval track, and a shout out to Michael Bloomberg seemingly playing the long game for the 2024 election with his support actions for the community(38:14). 

The conversation takes a personal and serious turn when they are prompted by a new story of a Doctor unfortunately being shot due to orgasm during a prostate exam (44:42). The moral of the story “go get checked out” because the fear isn’t as important as knowing your health status. 

The show is rounded out by Ty Lawson’s take on ‘cakes’ (1:02:00), two new cross-racial dolezals (1:15:00), Mitch McConnell and the repubs hypocrisy (1:18:40) and love after lockup.

On this week’s episode the fellas are joined by Ramona Jackson aka “The Bourbon Bohemian” as they take the opportunity to celebrate Naomi Osaka, Nikki Porcher and the other You Glo Girl nominee’s that will make you LOL like they did(33.33). 

The conversation continues with a political spin and they discuss Andrew Gillum’s (1:11) less than interesting revelation and the TransSatan anarchist that won the republican nomination for Sheriff (1:07). 

The show wouldn’t be complete without a nod to Michelle Obama’s relationship advice(1:14) and the “WAP” that got the ring but couldn’t make a happy home (1:17). 

They round the show out with discussions on All Buildings Matter (1:26), White on White Crime (1:37)and the influence of Hip Hop on the current political landscape (1:40).

This week’s episode the fellas send off another Atlanta institution.  Rest in Peace to Follies, home of the shoe models and show girls. 

They dig a little deeper into today’s events as the discuss 45’s desire to supersede the 1619 Project by defunding schools.  This cancel culture conversation continues as they discuss clout chasing and the 24 hr news cycle sound bite culture.  

They go on to mourn a couple cultural icons KUWTK and the Mexican pizza.  As a mash up to those two conversations they cover the continued Kardashianing of today’s society that’s devoid of discretion, respect and subsequent consequences.  

They go on to discuss woes of the married life, the antiquated structure of child support and alimony as they come to a split decision around the alimony request from Dr. Dre’s wife.

First off RIP to the great Chadwick Boseman…. 

On this week’s episode of the Vexed Intellects the guys start off with a low calorie all organic hip hop rendition from the new Vanilla Ice aka Nicole Ritchie.  They discuss heavy topics of today around the great work in Georgia busting up the sex trafficking ring and the utter disgust fort the district attorneys office attempt to use Breonna Taylor’s ex boyfriend as a pawn in defending the senseless murder.  

The Intellects go on to discuss black excellence as they cover some amazing banking power moves and mergers inside the black community.  These moves set the community up for enhanced reinvesting power that fly in the face of the insidious policies around Missouri gun laws, incomprehensible support for the murdering Kyle Rittenhouse and overall “fear of a black planet” narrative being used by 45’s re-election campaign to activate his base.
