In this episode, I welcome back her friend Tina Kadish, founder of From Job to Joy, for a heart-to-heart on what it takes to choose yourself. After more than two decades in corporate training, Tina has spent recent years helping women find career clarity, but her own life recently handed her the biggest transition yet.
After 27 years in a relationship, Tina made the decision to leave and found herself an empty nester, single, and living alone for the first time in her life, in her 60s. She shares candidly about the fear that kept her staying long after she knew it was time to go, and what it finally took to trust her own voice.
We talk about what it means to stop waiting for someone else to know how we feel, and to start speaking our truth instead. Tina reflects on the resilience and courage she's discovered in herself through the process, and how her faith, especially the reminder that she "can do all things through Christ who strengthens her, has carried her through the hardest days.
Tina also shares what's new in her business: a five-step Shift Method that helps women move from clarity into inner healing and aligned action, and a brand-new free community called Real Life, Real Shift, meeting monthly for women to gather in honest, unrecorded sisterhood.
