Life has to come from somewhere. Life is a precious gift from God, and it is truly a miracle that we exist in this world. As we reflect on the miracle of life, we will explore the beauty of creation and the power of God's love for us. Have you ever heard of Doubting Thomas? He was one of Jesus’ disciples and was known to doubt aspects of Jesus ministry and resurrection. When Jesus rose from the grave, Thomas stated he would not believe without seeing Jesus and touching his wounds from the cross. He needed to see to believe. We might even be mad at God and blame God for our situation, and so we don’t go to God in prayer. But instead of running from God in our pain, we are to go to him with our laments, pleading for his intervention.
