Our guest experienced the challenges that come with not having to study resources like computers and science laboratories, first hand. His love affair with Mathematics started at Grade four and was inspired by his teacher.

He started tutoring students after he finished matric in 2014 (Centane and PE). Whilst he tutored, he decided to create a study guide where students could learn from anywhere in the country.

Our guest started their journey from Johannesburg to Mthatha on 15th January 2021. The aim of this walk is to raise R1 million and create awareness on early childhood development to ensure that children enjoy foundation education in Xhora village. When they reach Mthatha, their non-profit organization, No One Left Behind, intend to build a school with the donated resources.

Thus far, the Ford Foundation has pledged R20 million to the Response Fund.

Almost 200 fintech businesses applied for the AlphaCode Incubate programme which aims to grow innovative financial services entrepreneurs and find the next OUTsurance or Discovery. The 12-week intensive pre-incubation programme is valued at R500 000, including R150 000 in grant funding for each participant. This jump-start programme has just begun and focuses on achieving a viable business.

Last year, electric vehicle manufacturer (Agilitee Limited) announced that it has entered into an exclusive manufacturing license agreement for Electric Vehicles (EVs) with eBikeGo Private Limited. The exclusive transaction was done with Verityhurst on behalf of Agilitee and it will allow eBikeGo to manufacture a new brand of electric motorbikes and scooters under the brand name of Agilitee.
