We have this notion of avoiding the responsibility of an unfulfilled task by avoiding it because we think it is insignificant. Well, you are wrong. We need to understand that these little habits make a bigger determination of will power. Be it going to the gym or be it repairing that old motorcycle of yours back in the garage.
In the first episode of this segment, I decided to share this habit of 'No excuses'. Just accept your fault if you were not able to complete a task, remind yourself before going to bed and try to fulfil that task. Say, for example, hitting the gym the next day. If you cannot then accept it, write in a journal and remind yourself that you will the next day. Set deadline for yourself say paying a penny to your friend if you are unable to fulfil that task.
The catch is, if you fail, you need to accept your mistake on the frontline, as simple as that. You have to keep accepting your mistake and rinse and repeat till you actually accomplish this task.
For this week, I take the task of going to the gym for at least 4 times a week. Let's see if I can reach that target. I am going to pay my friend a hundred rupee note if I fail to accomplish this task and I am going to report to him every day. Try it for yourself. Let me know in the comment section below.
