Vaportrap fuses the elements of vaporwave and hip-hop/trap to provide high energy, mind-melting vaporwave music.

It is in this subgenre that you will find feelings of familiarity from the recognition of a hip hop beat, but at the same time find frighteningly experimental work as well.

Moe Shop is a non-binary future funk artist living in Japan that draws on inspirations like Daft Punk and J-Pop, all while being in-tune with the future funk world of vaporwave.

A warning though: this episode is one of non-stop bangers. Listen in a safe area where you have the ability to dance... You won't be able to help yourself.

This album is one of the best selling bandcamp albums and a staple of the hypnagogic vaporwave genre. 

The album paints a broken, futuristic cyber city ridden of any human dignity and emotion.... And carries you on half-dreadful, half-euphoric journey of discovering what it's like to feel - in a neon world that doesn't.

The subconscious identity-crisis of Filipino Americans and his west coast roots tailor his banger of an album “1995”, available all music streaming services.

Part of the fun of this podcast is bringing people from different musical backgrounds to enter the strange world of vaporwave, and this episode was a whole lot of fun.
