Walter Lyle is a photographer, YouTuber, and commercial filmmaker based in the Southeastern United States.  I was intrigued by his YouTube videos that popped up on my feed because he is super relatable, likable, and filled with everyday common knowledge we all need about the photography world today.  Neither of us cares about certain name brands because every tool has a purpose.  This podcast introduction to Walter is educational, inspiring, and funny! He will definitely be a guest again in the near future. :)

We lost two legends this week, and I had to reflect on how they impacted my creative life. Rock and roll was an attitude I acquired when I was younger, and Ozzy had a lot to do with that. I grew up watching Malcolm on the Cosby Show and many other shows as the years have passed.  Malcolm was only 54 years old when he passed, and I'm 53.  This hits a little close to home. Mortality is something we all share, and what we do with it is what makes us creative humans. Rock this life you have and take the chances needed to give yourself experiences you can tell your grandkids! :)

Merry Christmas everyone 2024! Going into 2025 A.I. will be king. It will be another fantastic tool for getting creative life accomplished at a much faster pace. The human experience of photography will NOT be replaced. Every photographer at every level of knowledge has the opportunity to be a visual historian. In the world of deep fakes it's more important than ever to deliver your photography experience.  I'll share a story in this podcast that explains my thoughts. See you next year!
