Paul instructs us to place the needs of others above our own, pointing us to the perfect example, Jesus, who humbled Himself for our sake.

In this teaching, Pastor Chisom continued with the second part of Philippians 1 from verse 19 till the end. It’s a powerful reminder of what it means to live worthy of the Gospel and to stand fearless in the face of opposition. We learnt how to grow our convictions as well as how to be a good servant.

Philippians begins with Paul introducing himself simply as a bondservant (doulos) of Christ Jesus; not a celebrity or hero, but a slave fully surrendered to his Lord. Right from the start, he shows us what true discipleship really means.

We begin our Philippians study with this teaching “Doulos” and Pastor Kenneth expounds on Philippians 1 from verse 1 to 18.

We all need people who walk with us, speak the truth in love, and help us stay steady. God never intended for us to struggle in silence/isolation. Accountability keeps us honest and helps us grow.
