The second part of James 1 reminds us that faith isn't just about hearing the Word but putting it into practice. It challenges us to resist temptation, speak with kindness, and care for others, urging us to live out what we believe. In this teaching, we explore what it truly means to be doers of the Word and reflect God’s heart in our daily lives.

We begin our journey through the book of James with this teaching! In James 1:2-3, we find an extraordinary challenge—it calls us to "consider it pure joy" when facing trials. This attitude towards persecution is truly countercultural. In this episode we delve deeply into James 1:1-15.

God doesn't want you ignorant about the things of the Spirit rather, He wants you to grow to mastery. Illuminate Conference came to a close with an amazing third session. We learnt that the believer was made to yield to and obey the Spirit. God wants you to grow in the leadership of the Spirit such that when you're led by the Spirit you yield. PK taught on the areas where the gifts of the Spirit is necessary, groupings of spiritual gifts and the qualities of the 'offices' in church according to Ephesians 4.

In this teaching, we explore how to handle these struggles the right way!

The second session kicked off with PK instructing us to honor the word of God and condition our bodies when studying the Bible because the flesh is weak. He went on to delve deeply into hermeneutics and the laws of hermeneutics. In addition, we learned things to drop before studying the word of God as well as hurdles to jump in hermeneutics. Listen and be equipped with adequate knowledge that will transform your Bible study forever.

In this session, PK taught mastery in discipleship. He went on to teach extensively on being a good disciple, qualities of a good disciple, and the qualities of a bad disciple. Pastor Kenneth wrapped up this session by highlighting the expectations of a Vivifier.
