In the latest serving of The Voicenote, Padraig is joined by fellow podcaster, acclaimed dancer, fashion icon, Cork sister, writer and star of Cliché, PJ Kirby who conveniently is one of Padraig’s closest friends. 

In the episode the pair catch up after a long ten days without a rendezvous, they discuss the state of the gafs for rent in Dublin, Rihanna’s Super Bowl performance and Valentine’s Day before getting down to this weeks theme: Fad Diets. 

Neither of the two are shy to admit that they struggle with dysmorphic thinking in relation to their image and they open up about how they continue to work on accepting their bodies while screaming at some of the chaotic fad diets they tried over the years. 

Padraig recalls how he worked the room at Weight Watchers and was fleeced by a pyramid scheme in a bid to lose a few pounds. Pj shares traumatic stories of casting calls and auditions in London as a 6ft+ pastey Irish boy with a skinhead and love handles.

Back after a short hiatus to gather his thoughts, Pádraig chats to Ash Carroll and Naomi Redmond, two best gal pals, who together took Irish TV's by storm on the latest series of First Date's Ireland.

Pádraig tells them how he knew the moment he saw them they were destined to be friends and over a couple of bottles of Prosecco, Dublin's newest and hottest ménage à trois really get to know one another!

On the day that the annual ban on RIP.ie was lifted in their house, Pádraig is joined yet again by listener favourite, his mother, Mary to chat about their Christmas on episode 4 of The Voicenote.

In the episode Pádraig shames his mom about her Christmas gift habits, they recall a recent trip to Dublin and express their shock at how they are still talking despite it being a week into the Christmas holidays. Mary makes a PSA to tell everyone what she does not want for Christmas. Ever.

After a chaotic Christmas Eve, Pádraig discusses his dry January plans, the importance of not doing the Christmas calls unannounced and Mary tells Pádraig about hopping into the display bed in Dunnes Stores to make all the Christmases of an unsuspecting retail worker come at once.

In the third instalment of The Voicenote, Pádraig lands a chat with Irish national treasure, James Kavanagh in the hopes of rinsing him for some free advice but gets more than he bargained for as they strike up a beautiful new friendship! 

In the process Pádraig tells James what he really thinks of his beloved cat, Diana, James takes a test to see if he is worthy of becoming a true 'Corkonian' and the pair play a gay mans favourite game, ‘Would You Rather?’ with questions sent in from listeners.

In episode two, Pádraig is joined by his very good Judy, Shannon Jones Murray for a long overdue catch up. Shannon who is notorious for flaking on plans and known for her quick whit chats all things Christmas and they share some of their less conventional Chrimbo traditions as two, double-barrel named gaylings from broken homes.

Pádraig and Shannon talk about some of their fondest memories of one another which coincidently always happened in one of their cars, Shannon (a sharp tongued movie critic) discusses her favourite Christmas movies, who she thinks would be ideal person to play Pádraig in a biopic and the pair have a scream over some of the listeners untraditional Christmas traditions.

In the first episode of The Voicenote, Pádraig asks his mother, Mary questions about himself to help listeners get to know him a bit better.

In between their moments of hysterical laughter, Mary tells Pádraig which celebs she would love to see him dating, they discuss whether or not they will wear a harness to Mary's first pride event and Pádraig realises his mom knows a lot less about him than he thought. This is a candid conversation that shows the loving relationship shared between Pádraig and his Mom and her excitement of having a beer once the recording is over!
