The US Postal Service is rolling out new trucks. Not sure if you’ve seen one yet, but they are U-G-L-Y and they ain’t got no alibi. Within a few years, the fleet will expand to 60,000, most of them electric models, serving as the Postal Service’s primary delivery truck from Maine to Hawaii. And while no one wants to be seen in one of these monstrosities, the early reviews are that carriers love them. For one, they have air conditioning, which most of the old standard trucks didn’t, AND the new trucks aren’t prone to catching fire which more than 100 of the old ones did last year alone. When you’re buying a car, what’s more important? Comfort or Coolness?
