This is the kind of story that keeps me up at night. We know people murder for money, for sex, for revenge, but somehow it is more horrifying when a random murder is committed against people who are totally and completely innocent. Clinton and Cristen Brink planned a fun day hiking in Devil's Den State Park in Arkansas. While enjoying their afternoon, a man jumped out and began stabbing Clinton. Cristen saved the girls by shielding them with her body and telling them to run. She then turned back to help her husband. She too was stabbed to death. A manhunt ensued and Andrew James McGann, a 28 year old elementary school teacher was arrested. Who is this person? Why did he do this? We will have to wait for the trial for any possible answers. For now, he sits in prison accused of a horrific double murder

Allentown, Pennsylvania was a depressed but safe place to live until, in the early 1990s, women began being murdered in their homes. Then a 15 year old girl was murdered on her paper route. The police chased the killer but had no luck because they were looking for an adult. They came up with a plan to stake out a previous victim and survivor's home to see if the killer would return to finish the job.
