The baths date back to the 1890s, and they have managed to survive city prices, pandemics, and neighborhood change. I met Dmitry at the bathhouse restaurant where we talked about celebrities at the baths, secret mobster meetings in the early days, the incredible food at the bathhouse, and much more.
