My interview with Alain was an absolute joy.  He is an old old old friend of mine and you will be able to tell from the interview that we go way back.  It was great catching up and chatting about all that is life, especially since he has recently become a Dad himself.

Dr Alain is a Dad to a 4 month old, a husband, a chiropractor, a tech fanatic, a podcaster and an all round awesome guy.  There are 44 chiropractors in his family!

The knowledge this guy has about relationships (with your partner, your kids and yourself) is incredible.

Simon Santosha is the Managing Director of Men & Family Counselling and Consultancy on the Gold Coast. He is a clinical social worker and psychotherapist with more than 18 years’ experience working with men and families dealing with relationship issues, separation, divorce, fathering and co-parenting issues. 

He has served on various boards which have been responsible for providing specialist advice to government around men and family relationships issues. He has also been instrumental in helping organisations throughout Australia develop best-practice approaches to working with and engaging fathers. 

He has presented at various state and national conferences and delivers professional development training to a range of government, non-government, private sector and communities throughout Australia. He has appeared on ABC’s Q&A program as a panellist and is often a spokesperson for men and family relationship issues in the media.

DADWORK: Talk to the head of the "Romance Department" and give him a swift kick up the A*S! Then fire him and replace him with someone who knows how to get stuff done.

Its time to step up! Being a great Dad is no easy feat.  Especially in the beginning.  Dr Jay and myself talk about new Dadhood and lots of other great topics.

Dr. Jay Warren has dedicated his career to helping people live happy and healthy lives and now specializes in wellness care for pregnant women and babies. Dr. Jay practices at the CAP Wellness Center - a fully integrated, multi-disciplinary prenatal, post-partum and pediatric wellness center in San Diego, CA. He is a member of the ICPA (International Chiropractic Pediatric Association), APPPAH (the Association or Pre and Perinatal Psychology and Health) and the host of the podcast “Healthy Births, Happy Babies”, where he talks to experts in the natural birth and holistic parenting field every week. Dr. Jay also likes to enjoy an active lifestyle as a surfer, a yogi and a volleyball player - although he’s becoming more of a runner now that his son, Niko, is almost 3 years old!

We tend to want to blame everything and everybody else for our own shortcomings when in reality there is only one thing to blame. Can you guess what it is?
