DADWORK: Live completely in the moment for 5 minutes a day for the next week. Sounds easy right? Maybe not. Focus on your breath.
Dr Brian Peterson is a chiropractor, qualified Primal health coach, podcast host, Tough Mudder junkie, basketballer and most importantly a husband and father to two beautiful girls, aged 6 and 15.
He is the Director of Cactus Chiropractic Lifestyle Centre, located in beautiful sunny Queensland Australia, where his clinic focuses on providing their community with evidence based, vitalistic, holistic spinal health care and genetically congruent lifestyle advice.
Dr Brian has been a chiropractor for 18 years. For most of those years Brian has dedicated his life to trying to figure out what the human body and mind require for optimal health.
He enjoys helping people get the “big picture” when it comes to health and supporting his clients to change their lifestyle as they transition from a standard typical diet, confused about exercise and lifestyle issues to a more genetically congruent lifestyle.
He has a unique perspective on health and lifestyle because he has personally had to quit virtually every vice known to man at one stage or another.
He enjoys the outdoors, hiking, chasing his two daughters around, a once a month “poker with the boys” night, and a Wednesday night run around the basketball court. And also an occasional surf.
Dr Brian enjoys running bootcamps, and training sessions equipping men and women to conquer their goals, such as obstacle course races like Tough Mudder and Spartan races. He has found that age has no barrier when it comes to health as he has tested his own hypothesis on himself, finding that he is stronger, fitter and faster at 47 than he ever was at 17, 27 or 37 years of age.
Dr Brian is a continuous learner and with the guidance of many great leaders, speakers, authors and researchers, is always striving to better himself. He is passionate about helping others reach their optimal potential through exercise, nutrition, and mindset through his podcast called “Unleash Your Gene-ius”.
Dr Brian is currently working on creating programs that will help busy parents get back to their true health potential.
