After playing a riveting game of desert island, the group decides to get a motel for the night in Sedro-Wooley to avoid a large storm. John and Liz talk about John's dream of becoming a writer and Anders, Chase, and Isaac plan a route through the mountains to the east. While everything seems to be going well, the next morning they get some devastating news.
