We have reached the official start of the college football season with week one kicking off on Thursday night. Jake and William take some time to recap the week zero game between Florida State and Georgia Tech. What went right for Georgia Tech and what went wrong for Florida State? Finally USC and LSU both lost their Heisman winning quarterbacks, multiple wide receivers and revamped their defense. Which one will have immediate success and win on Sunday night?

We have officially made it to the college football season. Week zero is here headlined by Florida State and Georgia Tech facing off Saturday. Before we get to the first game, we need to talk about our season predictions. Who are some teams most likely to rise and make the playoffs? William and Jake talk about their sleeper contenders and also talk about teams who they think will fail to live up to expectations this season.

The Heisman is the most prestigious award in college football. The guys take a shot at who they think will be the most likely winner of the front runners this season between Dillon Gabriel, Jaxson Dart, Jalen Milroe, Quinn Ewers, Carson Beck and Nico Iamaleava. William and Jake also go through dark horse candidates for the year an discuss players who are not at the top of people's lists who could be serious contenders by the end of the season.

It is time for the final conference preview before we get into the College Football season! Alabama replaces the greatest college football coach of all-time as Nick Saban opted to retire following the 2023 season. Kalen DeBoer comes over from Washington with a team ready to win. Can Alabama make the SEC Championship in his first season? Kirby Smart and Georgia are hungry after missing out on the College Football Playoffs and return nearly all their starters on both side of the ball. Can a hungry Georgia team make it back to the SEC Championship?

Lane Kiffin is a polarizing personality but is proving to be one of the best coaches in college football. He has pushed his chips into the middle and is ready to make a splash in Oxford. The Rebels are ready to go and a trendy team to compete for an SEC Title. Can Jackson Dart and Co. take a trip to Atlanta? Billy Napier is on the hot seat after struggles in Gainesville. The Gators have what is considered to be the toughest schedule in college football this season where Napier could be fighting for his job.

Auburn, Mississippi State, South Carolina and Vanderbilt are all looking to trend upward. Who of the bunch is going to make the biggest jump and how many of them do we see making a bowl game this year?

The Walk-On Redshirts welcome Mitch from the Three Tech Podcast to the show this week. The SEC may have eliminated divisions but we are still going to focus on the western half of the conference. Texas and Oklahoma have made their grand entrance to join the conference. Texas is looking to make it back to the College Football Playoffs after a narrow loss to Washington. Oklahoma will start Jackson Arnold who will look to be the next great Oklahoma quarterback.

Some pressing questions need to be answered in the SEC this year. Mike Elko takes over at Texas A&M, can he make an immediate impact with the amount of talent on his roster? Tennessee has a new quarterback at the helm and could be primed for a run and a chance at the College Football Playoff, will some potentially trick games cause them to slip up? Kentucky has been consistent with Mark Stoops, do we see them flirt with eight or nine wins once again? LSU was one of the best teams on offense last year but one of the worst on defense. Can they improve enough on defense to give them a chance at the College Football Playoffs? Lastly how long does Sam Pittman last this year? Arkansas is hanging him out to dry and it only feels like a matter of time.
