Deciding who we want to commit to spending the rest of our lives with is one of the most important decisions we will make in life, so it's not a decision we can afford to take lightly.

Doing our due diligence before making any important decision is crucial, but what does that process look like in the context of relationships and marriage? We share our thoughts on this question using the story of Abigail, Nabal and David (1 Samuel 25) as our point of reference.

Lust is a heavy topic and so, it can be easier to keep the conversation at surface level or not talk about it at all. Because of this, many of us suffer in silence as the effects of lust spread and wreak havoc in different areas of our lives, leaving us in constant damage control mode.

We have to get real with each other and ourselves, have real conversations and let the word of God be our guide if we're going to break harmful cycles and walk in a manner that's worthy of the calling to which we have been called (Ephesians 4:1).

In this episode we try to do just that with the topic of lust.

Receiving a gift from God is a wonderful thing, especially if it's something you've been praying for, for a long time.

Sometimes the excitement of receiving a gift whether it's marriage, a new job, financial breakthrough etc can shift our focus away from the gift giver... God.

Happy New Year Friends! 

By the grace of God we're here in 2023, and a new year makes room for new conversations. In preparation for season 2, I've been sifting through previous recordings and came across this episode recorded last year January.

In this episode, we shared our thoughts on what it means to have heaven on earth, and why Jesus instructed us to pray for this during His sermon on the mount (Matthew 6:10). It's a timely episode despite being a year old and one that we hope will serve as helpful food for thought in this first week of a new year.
