Session Seventy Nine - The Shadow Rises and the Banner Falls - The city of Nuzzah has fallen into the hands of The Red Shadow. Crimson banners flutter in the wind over freshly erected spike walls that surround the city. Nela The Blood Rose, Chieftain of Hok, has joined the army and pledged herself and her forces to Queen Zoras cause. With Nuzzah taken, Hoks army blocking reinforcements from the south, and the pirates of Emming preventing reinforcements from the sea…all eyes turn to the city of Moro. Which is the last hope for Otoran to receive reinforcements after a future attack on the city. The wilds of Malkaria that lay between Nuzzah and Moro are reminiscent of other areas The Strange Ones have seen before. The mighty black pines that stretch into the blue sky, the rolling green pastures of razor grass, and the all too familiar backdrop of the blood red crests of The Burgundy Mountains. It is a fitting end to the journey that started within Castle Odoxium, high in the peaks of the mountains behind them. Another sun rises over those same mountains, marking the day The Red Shadow is to begin the march to Moro.

Session Seventy Eight - Bloodshed on the Horizon - Having safely escorted Linvala's father to Segvell and after enjoying a night on the town during The Silver Moon Festival, The Strange Ones have now returned to The Red Shadows camp. As they walk through the quiet camp they notice the faces of the numerous soldiers going about tasks in preparation for the taking of Nuzzah. They see a Malkar human man sharpening a use worn ax on a whetstone. They see a Malkar orc woman fletching arrows near a fire, the stretch marks on her bare stomach proudly proclaiming her to be a mother and a freedom fighter. They see a young malkar orc male tending to one of the pack horses used to carry the armies supplies, by the look of his unshaven face he would be more at home finding a young wife then finding a battle. However, The Strange Ones know for every untested foot soldier in The Red Shadows army there is at least one seasoned fighter who has pledged their life to serving Queen Zora and her son. Both veteran and novice have one thing in common, they have answered Odoxium's call to fight for a new Malkaria. They all fight for the kingdom they hope to see Malkaria become. A kingdom whose history is written in ink and not blood. A kingdom in which your station in life is dictated by your contribution to land and crown not by your lineage or lack thereof. As they return to their individual resting places, The Strange Ones catch hopeful glances from those who have joined Odoxium and Queen Zora in this fight. The half smiles and candid grins portray feelings of half courage, half fear, and all resolve.

Session Seventy Six - The Flames of War Cast Red Shadows - The Strange Ones have successfully escorted Queen Zora to Castle Odoxium, the headquarters of The Red Shadow. Upon speaking with Lord Odoxium and discussing strategy the party discover a small hole in the plan to move forward. The Red Shadow has no fleet to prevent reinforcements from coming to Otarons aid when the war starts. It was decided to call upon an old friend, The Sultan Pirate King Lord Lurtz Half Hand, of the city of Emming. Now the objective is clear: Zora and Valthrog must be taken to Castle Odoxium to be kept safe, and to prepare for the coming war.
