  • S.2 Ep. 5 Maury Island incident!

    We’re back discussing one of our favorite topics, UFOs. Chris gives us the rundown on one of the first documented UFO sightings from 1947 which is the Maury Island Incident. He gives us a clear picture of what happened on June 24, 1947 on Maury Island in the Puget Sound located in Washington state. We talk about the investigation by the Air Force and FBI and if this was all a big government coverup to hide the truth of Harold Dahl’s close encounter of the second kind. This is also one of the first times the Men In Black are called out in a UFO incident. Chris also talks about his favorite shows on the GAIA network and the individuals who’ve discussed their experiences with close encounters and the secret space program.
    Wacky World News this week comes from the UK in which a bride was modified after the groom being breastfed before the wedding ceremony. We chew over the limited details of the situation and our own feelings on if this would have been a deal breaker for us in going through with the marriage. Please rate/review!

We dive into HH Holmes and his questionable lifestyle along with the murders that he committed before, during and after the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition in Chicago, IL. Amanda’s husband Adam joins us as our resident Chicago expert on the Columbian Expo and details about the city at this time. We also discuss the correlation of facts in which HH Holmes could be Jack the Ripper!
    For Wacky World News, we discuss the re-examining and identification of a 2000 year old object found from Ancient Rome. This object has a particular carved shape that resembles a certain part of a man’s anatomy.

    That’s right, folks we’re going back in time! Or forward, we’re not really sure. Either way we’re talking TIME TRAVEL! We’re joined by a special guest, John or Jmo, from Bootleggers and Baptists as we dive into this fun, yet confusing topic. Chris gives some very scientific descriptions of time travel, paradoxes, and ways to achieve time travel. We look at items and people that were potentially transported through time. Chris also put together a top 15 list of movies ranking their ties to this.

    The Wacky World News topic this week is a doozie! It’s regarding the article from last year about a 19 year old male who proposed to his 76 year old billionaire girlfriend that everyone thought was his grandmother (nonna). Apparently love knows no bounds in this case!

    Our Wacky World News topic this week is the 29-year old woman who was arrested after four days of going to a high school pretending to be a teenager. It seems like a “Never Been Kissed” type of situation without the Rom-Com factor and Drew Barrymore. Amanda and Angela reminisce of their high school days and if they’d want to go back today or they would if time travel was in play.
