  • 9: How to stay connected with God and others in isolation, Danny Ortiz/Chuck/Pat and Ruben Arana
In this episode of the wave podcast we have a group discussion highlighting the work of Ruben Arana. Ruben is a professor with Florida A&M University. He started a ministry called Worship Word and Art. His ministry supplements what the church is doing and provides an alternative way for people to worship together. In this time of social distancing and isolation we will increasingly need to connect in alternative ways to stay connected. We discuss the opportunity this time of Sabbath provides us to reconnect with family and to take time from our busy schedule to focus on our relationship with God.
The conversation includes Ruben as well as Danny Ortiz the host of the Wave Podcast as well as guests Pat Sweetman and Chuck Schierbeck. Danny discusses the work of the Holy Spirit in alternative ways of worship and connecting. Ruben and Pat discuss ways to stream content and connect with audience. Ruben also highlights the changes in his spiritual life that live streaming his gifts has opened for him and the work the Holy Spirit has done in him. • 7: Saying Yes to Jesus!!! Danny Ortiz and Peter DeWitt
When the kingdom of heaven is at hand our answer is to repent and repentance is always about recalibrating our yes. The process of saying yes to Jesus is incremental in the life of Peter shows that our yes at one point sometimes needs upgraded for a new season. God works in us both to will and to do and in this season God is addressing our will. He knows all things so let’s invite Him in so that we can upgrade our yes.
