This weeks episode had me buzzing with excitement. You know, when you just meet someone and you click and they speak your language, and they say things that feel like they're being pulled directly from your brain? That's what talking to Erin was like. Having a strong dance background, taught her everything she knows about everything, but she struggled with portraying a certain image of herself, and who she was inside. But she's no longer letting that hold her back anymore, although she considers herself starting things "a bit later in life," she did what she needed to do in order to work on herself and get to the point of truly loving herself when she looks in the mirror.

It's no secret that I love social media. But I know it and technology get a lot of flack for setting these unrealistic expectations and cause people anxiety, depression, and self-deprecation. Like anything else though, I believe there are two ways to look at anything and yes, social media and technology have the power to promote a lot of destruction... but, they can also do really amazing things; if we choose to see them and use them that way.

How you react when news breaks that another celebrity has taken their life has an effect that you might not have thought about. I’ve been seeing a lot of messages lately calling people out for only caring about mental health when it’s in the news, or when it affects a celebrity. And honestly, that feels like such a slap in the face to those of us who try to make an effort day-in-and-day-out in raising awareness and starting conversations about mental health, when something of this magnitude isn’t circulating the media.
