The Weekday

Mike and Justin have special guest on the Weekday today (no spoilers) to discuss a very intriguing topic: should church leaders be paid for their work?

It's a great question with many facets, but Mike, Justin, and their special guest (still no spoilers) take the issue head-on in this the 40-something episode of the Weekday.

Our special guest also gets to dive in on Mike's Hot Take this episode that is sure to knock your socks off.

What is it about the megachurch that we keep signing up for?

Why do we, as humans, continually sweep things under the rug when it comes to narcissistic leadership, personality, and charisma?

Join Mike, Andy, and Justin on this episode of THE WEEKDAY as they dissect the rise and fall of Mars Hill Church, Mark Driscoll, and where the megachurch is headed in the future.

Vacation Bible School. VBS.

Painful memories. Awesome now.

Let's take a trip down memory lane and discuss why we didn't like VBS when we were younger, why we like it now at Bay Hope Church, and how we are continuing to try to connect kids and parents to life changing relationships with Jesus!

Also, tune in for why (or why not) Chili's is the worst/best restaurant ever.
And Powerade Zero tasting. And more fun.

Self awareness is the key to so many things in life: discipleship, citizenship, leadership, parenting, marriage, work, school.

Basically, everything.

But it's incredibly painful to develop a healthy sense of self awareness, one that promotes personal growth as well as corporate/church growth.

Join Mike, Andy, and Justin as they walk through the WHAT, the WHY, and the HOW on this episode of THE WEEKDAY.

And also...some amazing thumbnails of Justin right here: https://imgur.com/a/SaYgCup

Let us know in the comments: what are the soundtracks that are playing in your head right now? Are the positive or negative?

THE WEEKDAY. Now with another special guest, producer Justin!

Come for the self care. Stay for the sidetracked conversations about hockey, soccer, COVID, reopening, and more. Enjoy the special guests!

Self care is such a huge thing in our lives, and oftentimes we don't pay enough attention to it. There's constantly a soundtrack running in our heads that is trying to drag us into negativity.

And it's a soundtrack that has gotten louder and louder in our COVID/pandemic world. And they dictate our actions and words more and more every day.

But we don't need to let them control us.
