In my first podcast I interviewed my good friend Shivani, who I consider a modern day boss babe! We both pursued a career in accounting and work for the same firm. In this podcast we talked about how we manage work-life balance, the importance of speaking up, how our cultural backgrounds and families have influenced our work ethic. I look up to Shivani so much and I think having friendships like this are crucial to being successful - someone that can relate to your experience and be there whenever you are faced with a certain struggle in your career. Whether you chose a career in accounting or not I hope you are able to find something you can relate to.
