They’re also both veterans, so they bring a unique perspective to #BLM conversation. They talk about life in America and on military bases as a black family, how they have to give their kids “the talk” when it comes to how they interact with law enforcement officers, and how that’s affected how they themselves grew up.

Rebekah is the Pathfinder Site Manager at the Hawaii USO. The Pathfinder program helps prepare service members for reentry into civilian life.
