Nick and Jake are back together and discussing Jake’s travels for work and craft beer. Jake went to Denver and had a time. His next stop was Berkeley, CA. and we discussed the correct amount of places to hit in one day. Jake went on a diatribe about college basketball and west coast time. He was happy with Fieldworks and his favorite was definitely The Rare Barrel. Toward the end of the podcast we discuss the proper etiquette of bringing a large group to a brewery. Episode 90 : The Twins Takeover

Jake and Alex wanted their own episode, so they did just that! Starting off with some twin knowledge, Jake lists all the famous twins he can think of. After that, we cover the questions you asked us on instagram. From there, we get into our “award season categories” and this prompts a conversation about the actual award shows. Nick joins at the end of the podcast to finish up the award show motif and we wrap up with our favorite non-beer drinks.

Nick and Alex are joined by our friend Phil this week as we discuss Voodoo New Ken and some bottles that Phil brought to share. We talk breakfast food and vegan options, barleywines, and Voodoo New Ken. Phil is hoping for a March opening. We chat a little about brewery die hard fans and your neighborhood brewery. From there, we were all blown away by Hill Farmstead and Phil lets us know more about Voodoo New Kensington. Jake writes his love song for Bend, OR and gives his seal of approval as a place you definitely should visit. Ryan runs the Fueled By Hops Facebook page (www.fueledbyhops.com/join) and he’s throwing a festival (FueledFest412) on March 14th at Spirit in Lawrenceville. From there, we talk about beer styles and untappd wtf and Untappd’s beer festival while hitting on our normal guest questions.
