This is a debate I've been having with myself for a couple months now and am still working through finding the answer for it.
-
Do I work every opportunity that come your way(like I am currently doing) or do I only work the jobs I want o be doing? It's a tough thing to juggle when just starting out it seems
-
When I was younger I misunderstood how making relationships is suppose to work. I made friends to profit me and thought people would benefit me without any work on my part.
-
I was wrong and it compounded even worse when I start my business. To make relationship for business you have to put serious work into it to be able to gain trust and later a profit from it.
I struggle with this the most currently in my business. The work when I have it is the easy part. It the time I have to spend on things that don't pay that gets me.
-
I either need to keep my skills as a welder brushed up and on point OR I need to be networking and making connects to get more work in the door. One keeps the work you get and the other brings in new work.
-
I can't really say which is more important at this time so I'm focused on getting better at juggling both!
I know that most people want to be a welder right away and make the big money but I want to talk a little bit about the benefits of working as a welders helper first for a few years.
-
There are things you will learn and advice you will get from working along someone who has years of experience vs going straight to a weld school and having to struggle on your own when you get out.
Wanted to motivate you all today about how business and really how life works out most the the time.
-
Also wanted to remind everyone the importance of the fact that you never know who's watching;)
