The Welderbeast Audio Experience

A young guy asked me how he can become a pipeline welder when he has little downhill welding experience, no pipeline experience and hardly no cash to rig out... SO this is my rant for 6 minutes about what he should do haha

There is no special ingredient or how-to book for success in welding, it is 100% action. There are millions of youtube videos, facebook posts, instagram pictures, blogs and books about welding and how to do it but none of them will make you successful. Success in welding comes from time under the hood. It is very much an art when comparing it to learning to draw or paint or play an instrument. Mastery takes time and practice, lots and lots of time and practice.

With this being podcast #1 for Welderbeast I decided to take the time to talk about where I learned to weld and then go into where others can learn to weld as well. I spend some time explaining my outlook on the future of welding as a career, that there is more to being a welder than just welding, how to succeed as a welder and point out just a few myths I see in the work field today.
