Join us as we hit the back half of Revelation. John amps up his use of images, illustrations, analogies, and metaphors. This could create confusion, but John is simply trying to show how all of the Scripture is finding its fulfillment in the end. This week John focuses on the suffering that saints will have to endure throughout our pilgrimage here on earth, and especially during the end of times. If we're to be attacked directly by Satan himself, then how do we endure? Join us as we study this passage together.

How are these trumpets good news for God's people? Join us as we continue our series in Revelation, this week marveling at the throne room in heaven. Before we dive into the end times we get another picture of the Father and the Son, seated on thrones, above everything on this earth. If we can rightly worship, it'll rightly orient everything that follows. John goes out of his way to try to describe something indescribable, God, in heaven, on the throne! The biggest shock though comes midway through chapter 5, and it invites the human heart to worship, even above the angels themselves. Join us as we study this passage together.

Join us as we wrap up the first section of Revelation, focusing on Jesus' letters to seven churches. Today we see two very contrasting churches. One is suffering on the outside, but thriving on the inside, while the other is thriving on the outside, but suffering spiritually. How do we endure when we're suffering? What if physically thriving is one of the more dangerous positions for us to be in? What if we're more like Laodicea than we'd like to think? How do we apply all of these churches to our lives in general? Join us as we finish this portion of Revelation together.

In this sermon, we examine three of the letters to the churches - Pergamum, Thyatira, and Sardis. The pattern is the same for each of them; Jesus reminds the church who He is, identifies a problem, and ends with a promise. The exhortation is "do not compromise," Jesus is better!

These are two churches heading in opposite directions. Externally, the one that seems to be thriving is internally dying, and the one that is externally dying is internally thriving.
