Exploring LOVE, PEACE, HOPE, and JOY through the stories of Joseph, Mary, the shepherds and wise men.
By taking a look at the life of Joseph, we learn that LOVE is to give of ourselves in simple obedience to God.
In the church calendar, this Sunday is known as Christ the King Sunday. It’s a day dedicated to acknowledging that we have no other king than Jesus.
In the moments before Jesus is crucified, He has an interaction with Pilate centered on whether or not Jesus is a king. Jesus reveals that he is, in fact, king, but his kingdom is like no other kingdom on earth.
Rather than being a king based on power and domination, his kingship revolves around his suffering.

Jesus tells the parable of the prodigal son in Luke 15. Today, we explore his teaching from a different perspective.
From our "Lost & Found" series. The body functions when all our parts are present. In other words, Jesus is saying (Luke 15:8-10) that when people miss out on the kingdom life, they're not just missing the wholeness we enjoy. WE are missing the wholeness THEY bring. One Lord. One people. One table.
We stepped out of our "Lost & Found" series this week to share a special message from Pastor Paul.
We've been looking at revival/renewal through the lens of Josiah, but this month we're going to shift to looking at it through Jesus's perspective (in Luke 15). God is deeply interested in our relationship with him, and celebrates when we draw close!
Confession is essential to renewal. And true confession is based on how we compare to God's will, not the behavior of others. It's letting go of the bad in order to grab hold of the good.
In the life of Paul, there were a lot of things that could have stopped him in his ministry--guilt, rejection, relationship issues, failed dreams, unfair circumstances. But new life happened despite his disappointment and difficulties...and the same can happen to us, if we simply keep trusting.
New Life Sunday is a quarterly celebration surrounding baptism, baby/child dedications, and church membership. It is our joy (and privilege) to come alongside these individuals as we continue to grow and nurture the family of God!
