  • Run!
We are getting ready to start racing. We have been training and have studied our sport. We know the courses ahead and we know both our strengths and weaknesses. Now, it is almost time to race. We are nearly ready to go, prepared within the limits of our bodies, time and other constraints, but almost ready to go, nonetheless. Soon, we will be on the line, ready to contend for the prize. • Setting Sail II
We have a beginning an an end. We were born for here and now. We are not accidental or random. We are put together specifically with our individual gifts and talents. • Life As We Know It
Life. How we define, preserve, protect and value life is often, in my opinion, directly related to how well we have understood God and His Word to us. On the other hand, this subject as with all other similarly important ones is decided very differently when we have no anchor of absolute truth to which we moor our lives to. If the truth we follow is, in fact, centered on us and our own preservation/comfort/convenience/economics, then the direction we take in regards to abortion, euthanasia, or in fact simply how we value any other human will result in the rank ordering of our affections and treatment for people.
