After expressing belief in Christ as a child, tension rose within Steven as he entered his teen years and began to wrestle with the choice to follow Christ or give in to the desires of the world. Through God's faithfulness and biblical discipleship, he discovered what it looked like to serve the Lord wholeheartedly.

Makana grew up thinking there had to be more to life than the mundane routines. His curiosity was peaked after watching a video online, and his search for more began. After an encounter with God at summer camp, Makana soon realized the purpose and fulfillment he desired could only be fulfilled through a relationship with his Heavenly Father.
