To kick off a Thursday edition of the show, the guys discuss the Astro’s loss to the Rays last night and their level of concern with the team’s less than stellar play recently.  After the opening segment, they pivot back to Deshaun Watson as a new suitor for his services has potentially emerged.  They then debate if it is an absolute necessity that the Texans draft a QB in the 1st Round and whether or not Matt Corral’s performance against Alabama this Saturday might change their thinking.  As usual, they close the first hour by going around the NFL and looking ahead to TNF. 

On a Thursday edition of Quick Hits, the guys have some fun talking about Lane Kiffin spilling the beans, the new Rockets broadcast crew, Pedro Martinez letting one slip, and the potential for driverless cars! 

Bills Beat Writer and Sideline Reporter  for WGR 550 Sal Capaccio joins the guys to go behind enemy lines and give us all the latest on the Bills ahead of their matchup with the Texans on Sunday.  

After a 4-1 week on the show last week, Paramount Sports Handicapper Lee Sterling joins the guys to share some of his favorite picks for the weekend of CFB and NFL action ahead.

To begin the 2nd hour of a WILD day on the program the guys talk more Astros during Stros at 4, taking a deeper look at some of their concerns for the roster as they head towards the postseason.  As the hour continues, they debate what things they know for certain 3 weeks into the NFL season and get to talk with former Texans HC Gary Kubiak for about 5 minutes before the phones cut out (Gary will be back on soon!).  They finish up the hour looking ahead to Texans-Bills.

Battling some serious technical difficulties and power issues, the guys kick off a Wednesday edition of the show discussing the Astros, dramatic win over the Rays to cut their magic number to 1.  After the opening segment, they discuss a wild story that broke earlier in the day regarding Bill O'Brien and his Texans tenure and why it might actually be a good sign for Nick Caserio.  To wrap the hour, they go around the NFL discussing some of the best stories from the last 24 hours in the league.

In the final hour of the show the guys go around the league and discuss all the big storylines from around the NFL. To wrap up the show the guys have some fun in their famous segment "Quick Hits" and also crown a new champ of the day.

The guys open the third hour discussing Deshaun Watson and the success he has had in Houston and how not many other rookie quarterbacks have the same amount of success. At the bottom of the hour the guys discuss the Texans future and then wrap up the hour discussing the Astros postseason chances and what they expect to see in the playoffs.

In the second hour the guys discuss their ideal Astros playoff roster, including their outfield choices if Brantley is hurt, the starting pitching rotation and bullpen picks. The guys then go around the campus and discuss all the college football from this past weekend and preview the upcoming games this weekend. At the bottom of the hour NFL Columnist Andrew Brandt joins The Wheelhouse to discuss all things NFL.

In the first hour of The Wheelhouse the guys discuss the Monday Night Football game between the Cowboys and Eagles. They also discuss Davis Mills and how long they expect Tyrod Taylor to be out and who they see starting at quarterback when they're both healthy. At the bottom of the hour the guys go around the league.
