To kick off a Tuesday edition of the show, the guys discuss the news that Tyrod Taylor is headed to the IR making Davis Mills the starter for TNF and they break down how this changes their expectations for the season moving forward.  As the hour rolls along, they take some calls as they continue the Davis Mills discussion before wrapping the hour by going around the NFL.

Jake and the guys look over the Panthers and Texans upcoming game. Jake also gives his thoughts on a developmental league and how the adjustment for rookie QB has changed since his days. 

Colleen Wolfe of NFL Network hopped on with Jake, Cody, and Brad and the look over the Texans first couple games, as well as discuss if the Texans can keep this play up. 

In the final hour of The Wheelhouse the guys go around the league, have some fun in their famous segment "quick hits" and name a new champ of the day.

In the third hour of The Wheelhouse the guys discuss the good, the bad and the ugly from the Texans loss against the Browns. At the bottom of the hour they discuss some of the decisions David Culley made during the game and wrap up discussing Cody's biggest observations from the Texans loss. 

In the second hour the guys talk about the Astros series win against the Arizona Diamondbacks, Zach Greinke's recent struggles and the teams spot in the AL playoff race before switching back the conversation to the Texans. At the bottom of the hour Texans Beat Writer Brooks Kubina joins the guys to discuss Tyrod Taylor's injury and what that means for the rest of the roster. 

In the first hour of The Wheelhouse the guys discuss all things Texans including the loss vs the Cleveland Browns, the quarterback situation and the injuries to Tyrod Taylor and Nico Collins. At the bottom of the hour they discuss the job Nick Caserio has done and then go around the league to finish off the first hour. 

Out at Red’s Ice House in Beaumont, the guys start the final hour of the show as they usually do by going around the league and looking at their favorite matchups on Sunday.  After that opening segment ESPN Daily Wager’s Joe Fortenbaugh joins for his weekly segment where he gives out his favorite plays for the weekend of CFB and NFL action ahead.  In the back half of the hour they have some fun on Quick Hits before ending the show as they always do by naming a new Champ of The Day.
