With BK still on the IL, Jake and Cody kick off a Thursday edition of the show  looking at what Tyrod Taylor has brought to the team so far, highlighting the leadership he’s shown in a tumultuous period.  After the opening segment, the Texans talk continues as they take some calls and debate just how positive fans of the team should feel right now.  In the back half of the hour they preview tonight’s TNF matchup between the WFT and the Giants  before closing it by going around the NFL. 

On a Thursday edition of Quick Hits the guys have fun discussing a hilarious umpire incident, Brady joking about playing til 50, the official way to pronounce Tyrod, and more! 

CBS NFL Analyst Adam Archuleta joined the guys to preview the upcoming matchup between the Texans and Browns ahead of his TV call this Sunday.

Paramount Sports handicapper Lee Sterling joined the guys to share his favorite leans and plays for the weekend of CFB and NFL action ahead.

Legendary ESPN NFL Insider Chris Mortensen joined the guys to discuss all the latest on Deshaun Watson, why he thinks there's still a chance he plays this year, which teams are under the most pressure heading into Week 2 and more!

In the final hour of the show the guys go around the league and cover the latest NFL news. Jake goes through his Quick Hits and the guys pay tribute to Norm Macdonald. To close out the show Jake and Cody give away their nominations for "Champ of the day." 

Jake and Cody around the campus and talk college football and what quarterback they would rather have the Texans take. Fox Sports MLB Analyst Ben Verlander joins Jake and Cody as they go over the Astros pitching rotation, the Tampa Bay Rays, and the Mariners surpassing expectations. 

In the second hour Jake and Cody move on to the Houston Astros and revisit the '05 World Series vs the White Sox. TexAgs Radio's David Nuno joins The Wheelhouse to discuss the Aggies and upsets across college football. Jake, Cody, and Producer Andrew talk about times they have injured themselves in a wacky way.  

Cody Stoots and Jake Asman kick off the show by going over the latest on the Texans and how Odell Beckham's injury will affect Sunday's matchup versus the Browns. The guys then go on to discuss more news from across the NFL.
