It's your Whiskey Granny coming out from a LONG silence. Today I sample Release 15: Inception that was delivered to me in December. I wanted to get this episode released sooner but with having hand surgery, the pain and medication didn't agree with smelling and tasting the nuances of supreme whiskey and bourbon.

This should have been episode one. I talk about how I got into whiskey and that it is a women's imbibe. I go from my first taste of beer, wine coolers, love of craft beer, and then to whiskey.

What goes into new oak barrels? What might tasting it do for us? What I found out is that it tastes just as good but the charred oak makes it taste even better over time. And that is how we get bourbon and whiskey.
