Yamazaki Reserve Bottling Note

Released in Spring 2014, this is one of two Distiller's Reserve single malt whiskies from Suntory in Japan. This single malt from the Yamazaki distillery is jam-packed with superb red berry notes, gained from the whisky being matured in Bordeaux wine casks and Sherry casks. It also features malt matured in Mizunara casks, adding subtle fragrant oak notes.

We decided to do a random recording in the middle of our Whisky 101 event at "The Deli" @ Shaw.

On top of that, we were lucky to have special guest performer Matt Epps do a mini set for the crowd.

In this episode: The crew decides to record at "The Deli" on Shaw, instead of the studio. First time guests include Chris and Jodie as they help us compare the differences between Johnnie Gold and Johnnie Black. Highlights of the show include pairing our whisky with blue cheese and hot sauce.
