Jonathan is not just a Sports and Entertainment Attorney, but he also has experience as a sports agent, representing clients from the National Football League, National Basketball Association and Major League Baseball. He also utilizes his extensive law background and his experience as a sports agent to help professional athletes and high profile entertainment clients, protect themselves and their families, both now and in the future.
During our conversation with Jonathan, he talks about what it’s like to be a professional sports agent and why it can be very challenging and not as glamorous as most people think. He also talks about why college athletes should be getting paid and how new legislation passed in California, Colorado and Florida is setting the stage for college athletes to finally be compensated while in school.
Jonathan also talks about an article he wrote in 2014, in regards to the NCAA exploiting college athletes, by benefiting from their name, image and likeness, while refusing to compensate these same athletes and restricting them from making money while in school.
We also talk about the power of practical experience and why getting an eduction is only one part of a larger puzzle and why college athletes need to be given the opportunity to learn practical skills that would greatly benefit them while in college and in life.

Kenny gets real with us about the up’s and down’s of being a professional athlete and what it takes to rebound after being cut 10 times, and why learning to be adaptable has been vital to his longevity in the National Football League. He also shares his thoughts on the power of stick-to-itiveness, how he navigates the uncertainty that comes with the sport and having “no regrets”.
We also talk to Kenny about his time with the Detroit Lions and why he is looking forward to future with new head coach Matt Patricia. He also talks about some of the toughest players he has had to block, which produced some great football conversation.

During our conversation with Garrett, He shares his journey from growing up in Cincinnati Ohio, to playing college football at Michigan State University and later getting a tryout with the San Fransisco 49ers.
Garrett talks about the ups’ and down’s of going undrafted and playing in the NFL, the physical and mental challenges of the sport and why being adaptable and consistent is important to a player’s longevity in the league.
He also talked about the importance of getting outside your comfort zone and also shares a personal story about how he pushed himself to be better pass catcher and how that payed dividends on and off the field.
