You read that right. On December 8th, 2022, Congress finally (!) permitted people to marry whomever they want.

How is that even possible? It's been 55 years since Loving v. Virginia -a civil rights decision that stopped banning interracial marriage right here in these United States, the same ones that profess "liberty and justice for all."
