In our second episode, we’re joined by Sokcheng Thai, an incredible young Cambodian woman, who recently made history by becoming the first Cambodian Co-Active Coach, as well as being part of the first cohort of CTI's scholarship program.
Co-Active Training Institute, or CTI for short, is one of the world's oldest and most reputable coaching training and leadership development organisations, renowned for its rigorous and innovative programs. CTI trains leaders all around the world, from the most reputable companies as well as from government ministries.
We dive into what brought Sokcheng to be the first Cambodian worldwide to train with CTI, how she managed to get a full scholarship on CTI's first-ever scholarship initiative, and her vision for coaching in the healing of Cambodia. We also explore the impact that the world of coaching is having on her.
I’m delighted that you get a chance to meet this wise soul – a trail blazer for the Kingdom of Cambodia.

In our first episode, a group of friends – all coaches in Cambodia – start to look at the topic of trauma, a topic which all four of us feel is of critical importance today in Cambodia. Expect an informal and unstructured conversation between friends and colleagues as we dip our toes into this important topic of trauma from a personal angle. In future episodes we will dive deeper into the different types of trauma mentioned here: individual, collective, and inter-generational.
