In this episode, I discuss mental health matters and Professional Work Burnout with Dr. Aqueelah Roberson, a practicing Family Nurse Practitioner, with her Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP). Dr. Aqueelah also has an extensive work history in Social Services. As a wife and mother of two beautiful children, Dr. Aqueelah shares her personal story, insightful information and tips on being a professional working wife and mom and managing everything.
This is a dynamic conversation where we discuss professional work burnout, how to recognize it, and how to cope. It is so important to discuss this because so many are struggling with this very issue. Recent research from LinkedIn, which surveyed more than 16,000 professionals in the U.S. between March and June 2024, found that 4 in 10 U.S. workers report feeling stuck and burned out in their jobs, with a higher rate for project managers (50%).
LinkedIn research reported the highest rates of burnout are in:
#1 Program and Project management
#2 Health-care services
#3 Community and social services
#4 Quality assurance
#5 Education
