The episode opens with Charlie thinking he's seeing a mirage. Two men on horseback are approaching; one is white and the other is black. Charlie throws water into his face to make sure he is not dreaming. It is Bart riding into camp and he is overwhelmed with joy. He immediately runs to meet him, shouting words of excitement and disbelief. He says to Bart, "They said you was hung." Bart replies, "And they was right!" As they exchange a few more words, Charlie asks about Bart's badge. Bart explains he is the new sheriff of Rock Ridge. Charlie's demeanor becomes serious as he reveals the railroad is heading that way. Bart and Jim exchange glances as the rest of the railroad crew realizes Bart is back and they all drop their tools to encircle him with their own shouts of joy.

Something Mongo said yesterday about the choo-choo makes Bart pause. He asks Mongo if he knows why Hedley cares about the where the choo-choo is going? Mongo replies with a deeply philisophical, "Don't know. Mongo only pawn in game of life." Bart is convinced that he and Jim need to head out the railroad and do a little snooping. We transition to the site of the rail line being built. As the camera moves, Charlie comes into frame and heads to what looks like a large oak barrel.

We continue today with Bart reviewing the writ sent by Hedley Lamarr for Mongo's release. He determines it's legal and goes to wake him up. He comments how those schnitzengrubers can really wipe you out. He then throws a bucket of water at Mongo, waking him. Mongo yawns, breaking all of the chains holding him in place. Bart tells Mongo he is a free man but Mongo won't go. He says Sheriff Bart is the only man to ever whip Mongo. The Waco Kid says it looks like Mongo has taking a liking to Bart. Mongo looks sheepish and then declares, "Mongo straight!"

The episode picks up today with Lili begging Bart not to leave. Bart tells her she is making a German spectable of herself. He passes through the open door but look back over his shoulder. He puts on a seductive voice and says, "Auf Weidersehen, baby." He closes the door and she falls against it, eventually putting her back to the door. She says aloud that Bart is such a nice guy. We dissolve to the interior of the sheriff's office where Bart barely makes his way through the door. The Waco Kid smiles and says, "Oh, deary, dear. Look what the cat dragged in." Bart makes his way to his desk and collapses, using a stack of papers to rest his head. He asks Jim, "What's happening in the clean world?" Jim gets serious and says he received a writ from Hedley Lamarr for the release of Mongo. They exchange glances with Bart wondering why someone like Hedley Lamarr would be interested in Mongo? Jim says he has no idea.

The minute opens with a loud unzipping sound followed by Lili exclaiming it's twue! It's twue, it's twue, it's twue! We dissolve to the next morning where she offers Sheriff Bart another schnitzengruber. Bart says, "Fifteen is my limit on schnitzengruber." She then whispers something in his ear. He looks incredulous, exclaiming he is not from Havana. He then explains he has to get back to work for some heavy chores. Deparate, she begins to cling to Bart, begging him to stay, saying she never met anyone like him. Bart pauses at the door to look over his shoulder. He says, "Please..." but then the minute comes to an end.

Lili von Shtupp disappears behind her changing screen, but we also realize there is a curtain too. She actually is not ripping off her clothes, but opening and closing the curtain. When she comes back, she is dressed similar to a Playboy bunny, just without the ears. She realizes it is too bright in the room so she blows out both lamps, leaving the room in near dark. As she sits next to Bart, there is a knock at the door. She makes her way to it and it's Hedley who wants to know how it is going? She says the sheriff is like wet sauerkraut in my hands; by morning he will be my slave. Hedley tries to cop a quick feel but she slams the door. She returns to Bart, asking if it's true that his people are "gifted"?

Bart finishes reading the note handed to him at the table, causing the Waco Kid to do a spit-take with his beer. It appears Lili von Shtupp wants to see the sheriff in her dwessing woom after da show. We cut back to her changing room where there is a knock at the door. She goes through her welcomes again and Bart enters with a single red rose. Lili takes it, saying, "A wed wose, how womantic." She suggest Bart take a seat and then asks if she can slip into something a little bit more comfortable? Bart gives her a slow look, starting at her feet and working his gaze up to hers. Finally he tells her, "Pitter, baby." This gets a reaction out of Lili, close to a blush. She then disappears behind her changing screen.

Lili von Shtupp is winding down the song, "I'm Tired," by adding the words, "Everything below the waist is kaput." The cowboys in the audience begin shooting their guns into the air, cheering. She falls over and the four dancers grab her as they head off stage. A moment later, they return, putting her on her feet. She takes a bow before falling again into their arms again. She is whisked off stage as a note is handed to sheriff Bart. Jim asks what is says? He begins to read the note, but only gets a few words out before the minute comes to an end.

We continue with the drunk coming up on stage and Lili kneeing him in the nether region. She is totally unphased and simply continues singing. As she moves through the lyrics, she brings up to famous poets -- Lord Byron and Percy Bysshe Shelley. She says they jump on your belly and bust your balloons. Byron was famous for his poem about Don Juan. Shelley was famous for his poem, Ozymandias. By the end of the minute, we being to channel our inner Ozzy Osbourne.

The song, "I'm Tired," continues in this minute. Lili von Shtupp is at a point in her performance where she wants to chat with the audience. She begins with a young man who has propped his feet up on the stage. She asks his name and he replies, "Tex, ma'am." She then plays with him saying, "Well, Tex ma'am, are you in show business?" He says he is not. Then she kicks his boots as she tells him to get his friggin' feet off the stage. She then compliments another for having a 10 gallon hat, or is he just enjoying the show. She then does a strange slow octave build with her voice, prompting a drunk to get up on stage.
