Fighting back. Sometimes life can throw tremendous difficulties our way but know you are always up for the task. Do not run away. Do not just accept less than you deserve. When life is unfair, which it can be quite often; demand answers. Put it into the universe that you deserve better and then act in a way to make it happen. You are only one but you can make a significant difference if you are willing to fight for justice. 

 Do not take life laying down your voice needs to be heard!

Inner demons can take over if we let them. One of our main objectives in life is to not let our past control our future. How we accomplish that is by purging our inner demons, whatever they may be. We are all guaranteed to have a past but not everyone gets to enjoy their future. Take a stand and overcome your demons. You deserve to be free and we can only be free when we rid ourselves of what holds us back.

Inner peace enters only when inner demons exit!

People can change. No matter your past life or what you have or haven’t done, it is possible to make different choices moving forward. It is good to know that no matter how dark things appear to be, you have the ability to change. Keep in mind that any physical changes we ever see start with a decision. Change always starts between your ears. Thinking for a change. Action for a change. 

 What does it take to change the essence of a person?

In terms of achieving true success there are very few ingredients more essential than preparation. We need be be prepared physically. We need to be prepared mentally. We need to eat and sleep correctly. We need to have our personal lives in order. There are so many areas that need max preparation at times it can seem too much. But it never is. Never stop fighting for what you want in life. 

 Winning is reserved for the prepared. 

Overcoming adversity is a natural part of our lives. Those obstacles can vary from the minor inconvenience to the immovable object. In this movie we see one lie turn into a fight for survival. We never know what our challenges will be and when they will arrive but you can be certain that if you are not currently dealing with them they are lurking just around the corner. No matter your fight whether it be physical or mental, know that you are up for the challenge.

Sometimes you must believe in something to ever be able to see it. Faith drives us when we are too tired to keep going. We know the famous saying fake it til you make it. This mean acting like you are already something that you hope to be in the future. Seeing with your heart is an unwavering commitment to make you want to happen actually come to fruition. You may be put down. You may be ridiculed. The mountain may be unbelievably high but if you believe even when many others doubt, you will make it your great valley.

Perception. Always mind your surroundings. Pay attention to the details that others are oblivious to. Your life is constantly going at an alarming rate but don’t let it pass you by. It is so easy to get caught up in the everyday grind that life throws at us however don’t let it happen. You have the ability to stop and smell the roses. You can at any point stop the madness and choose to notice the things that most folks very often can be blind to. Make a different choice. Elect to notice the unnoticeable.

They have a way bringing out the best in students and getting them to believe in themselves, sometimes for the first time ever. Poetry is a lost art but is at the forefront of this film and it is better for it. Many of the all-time greats are quoted and used in a way to make a difference for young people. The power of the written word and spoken word are unparalleled in carving out your perfect future.

This movie is in the conversation for most talked about movies ever made. It held up a mirror to society and made us all reflect on ourselves and our outlook on life. Many parts in this movie had people going wow that is a really good point. Do we really do that and think like that? Sometimes the journey to truth and reality can be mighty challenging and it’s easy to see why people opt to take a different path but there is no path more rewarding and fulfilling than that of truth.

Not many movies in history can say they ignited the type of craze this one did. Shortly after this movie came the World Series of Poker absolutely exploded. Rounders laid the groundwork for explosion of popularity that still drives poker to this day. The points of view we see within this movie are both interesting and massively thought provoking. From good guy Mike to bad guy Worm, Rounders takes us through a journey of self-discovery that is truly inspirational.
