This week on The Willie Jackerson Experiment, we march straight into one of the most legendary military campaigns in human history: Hannibal Barca and his war against Rome.

Hannibal didn't simply challenge the Roman Republic—he brought the fight to its doorstep. From his rise in Carthage and his hatred of Rome to the incredible journey across the Alps with an army, cavalry, and war elephants, we follow the commander responsible for some of Rome's most devastating defeats.

We'll dig into the history behind Hannibal's campaign, including his dangerous Alpine crossing, the battles of Trebia, Lake Trasimene, and Cannae, and the brilliant tactics that made Hannibal's name synonymous with battlefield strategy more than two thousand years later.
