An Out of Focus/You, Me, and a Movie CROSSOVER EVENT.

In this episode, Anna and I talk about our favorite movies of the year/decade. It's a fun, nerdy episode that follows a tradition that we started on this podcast last year of a Year End List style podcast. If you want to hear our upcoming Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker episode, You, Me, and Carol 2019 or any other of our movie discussions, you can listen to our other podcast feed You, Me, and a Movie.

I present to you the penultimate episode of Out of Focus for 2019!

The people have spoken, and Janessa Steele is back for a PART 2 of our conversation in Episode 44!

In this episode, we talk about social media and its effect on our mental health, how loneliness could be a good thing, and Janessa breaks into my psyche. This is a mega episode, so strap in!

I sat down with Ben and Spencer Young over the Thanksgiving Weekend in Thomasville, GA. The last time we talked in podcast form was in 2015 back in the 1.0 version of this podcast, The 365.

Ben sticks around for the beginning of the episode and talks about the working on the recent movie productions in Thomasville, Sturdy Brothers, and working on old cars.

You can follow Ben on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/benjaminyoung_/

You can check out Sturdy Brothers (great place to get gifts): https://www.sturdybrothers.com/

Then, I talk to Spencer about the 10th anniversary of Grassroots Coffee, a coffee shop that holds a special place in my heart. He also talks about his other entrepreneurial ventures like Bueller and Frye and more! He also talks about his recent trip to Columbia, the business of coffee, and how Grassroots came to be!

I took some photos and some double exposures of Spencer at their roasting operation as well, and you can check those out on the blog: www.willmalone.com/blog/2019/12/5/out-of-focus-episode-48-grassroots-coffee-and-having-fun-along-the-way-with-spencer-young

As a side note (I talk about this in the intro), but there were unfortunately some sound issues in this episode. I'm working hard to fix them, and I apologize!
