  • Put Your Best Email Foot Forward (#267)
In this episode, I share with you what I found to be the five tips about getting what you want from email -- especially from strangers.  Like I do with everthing, I've called upon my own experiences to create this list, because I think I have a pretty good handle on how to interact with people via email, when I would like to engage them in something I think would be valuable to both of us -- and on the other side as well: I know what gets my attention. If you like this episode and want to be the first to know when new ones are released? • 265. Why Shifts ALWAYS Beat Pivots
In this epeisode, I talk about the difference between Shifts and Pivots. I'm a words person -- there's a distinct difference between the two words, and as an entrepreneur, we are often required to to change direction, and that, my friend, is not a Pivot. It's a Shift. Changing direction and continue moving forward! If you like this episode and want to be the first to know when new ones are released? Make sure you subscribe! • Owner Shift Coaching Comes to Life (#263)
In this episode, I talk about something I am doing that is brand new called Owner Shift  Coaching.  With this coaching program, I help you imagine the future you want and then make it happen. I decided to become a coach because I see too many entrepreneurs and leaders playing a game that's smaller than the game I think they are built to play. And if you've read my book, you already know that my goal is to help entrepreneurs think big -- bigger than they would ordinarily think on their own. And after having written the book  "Owner Shift -- How Getting Selfish Got Me Unstuck" and having had many, many discussions with people who read the book, I kept getting feedback that what was in the book was valuable and should be taught. It became clear to me that there is a need for the value I can bring to entrepreneurs and leaders everywhere.  What is different about me is that I don't do this coaching to make a living -- I do it to make a difference. I go into detail about my criteria for determining entrepreneurs and CEOs I would like to coach.  I'm excited to get this information out there.  Until next time, Maximize Your Greatness!Connect with Mike:Website: https://mikemalatesta.com/LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/mikemalatesta/

  • Why Character is Easier Said Than Done (#261)
In this episode, I share a story with my audience about character -- such a heavy word.  Is good character something you are born with, or something that evolves over time, or maybe it's something that can be alternating as you go through life?I go through the 6 elements of what I've come to call character, and then I'm going to ask you to rate yourself on each on a 1-5 scale.  I think this is a really neat exercise on character, and I hope you'll listen. If you like this episode and want to be the first to know when new ones are released? • What Will Smith & Jimmy's 94th Birthday Planners Forgot To Do (#259)
In this episode, I talk about the Power of Asking. A.S.K.  Too often we assume that what we think is what other people think, and we just move ahead with something because it's going to work for us. But not everyone is us, and not everyone thinks like us, and not everyone wants what we want.  But there's an easy way to get around that, and I go into it in this episode. If you like this episode and want to be the first to know when new ones are released?
